External dual-display upgrade
With the innovative Matrox DualHead2Go, you can add multi-display capability to a laptop or desktop computer. The easy-to-setup external upgrade box connects to the monitor connector of a computer and divides the signal for 2 separate monitors. Each display can be used to view different information. Unlike with a new graphics card, this solution doesn't require opening your computer, inserting parts into it, or replacing any of your hardware and software. This solution is ideal for easily adding multi-display support to an existing system while using the 2D, 3D, and video acceleration of that system.
DualHead2Go is especially useful for creating a cost-effective, space-saving, multi-display docking station for a laptop. This product addresses the needs of the increasing number of professionals using laptops as their main computer but who still want the advantages of a multi-display workstation while at the office. Using DualHead2Go in conjunction with the built-in display of a laptop, you can even use 3 displays at a time.
