Contest Rules & Regulations
Contest Description and Entry: Contest Description and Entry: To enter, applicants must complete the contact details including all required fields with valid information. The "Matrox DualHead2Go Giveaway" contest will run from August 1st, 2008 to December 31st, 2008 and the winner will be drawn, on January 7th, 2009 at 9:00AM EST. The official winner will be contacted by email. Only online submissions will be accepted. Winners must answer a skill testing question. Contest open to legal U.S. and Canadian residents only. Void in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
Eligibility: Contest open to legal U.S. and Canadian residents only, except employees and their immediate families of Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, their affiliates, printers, licensees, subsidiaries and agents. Void in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited. Entries must be received no later than December 31st, 2008 at 9:00PM EST. The entry forms received will be subject to verification by the contest organizers. The organizers' decision to this effect is final and cannot be appealed. Any entries received or submitted after the end of the contest period are not eligible. Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, is not responsible for entries that are misdirected, undelivered, late, incorrect or incomplete. Entrants assume all risks of the same. Employees and members of Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems are not eligible to participate in this contest. Odds on winning depend on the number of entries received.
Prizes: There will be one (1) prize awarded. The prize will include a Matrox DualHead2Go kit. The winner must provide a valid email and shipping address. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the draw date, then a Matrox representative will draw another random name and will attempt to contact the next selected winner. The winning contestant will then be informed that they are the official contest winner. Winners must answer a skill testing question. Prizes will be shipped to the recipients at no cost to the winner. Non-winning contest entries will be carried over to the following day so contest entrants have more chances of winning.
Other Terms and Conditions: Winners agree that Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, and their employees are not liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance of and/or participation in prize and/or contest. Winners' entries and acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use his or her name for use on the Internet or other purposes of advertising and promotions, on of behalf of Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, without additional compensation. No purchase is necessary. Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, reserves the right to make changes in the rules and prizes of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement. No substitution, cash alternative or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, who reserves the right, at its discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability. Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems, reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this contest at their sole discretion in the event of a computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, or any other occurrence beyond their control that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, or normal operation of the contest. Failure of the contest entrant or winner to abide by these Official Rules will be grounds for disqualification from the contest. The DualHead2Go prizes will fall under the general warranty agreement for the DualHead2Go product. No special warranties or guarantees are made on this product. Winners are responsible for determining whether the DualHead2Go unit is compatible with their existing system (laptop or PC). Any damage to the winner's system (including any laptop, PC, hardware, software or peripherals) which is incurred whether as a result of DualHead2Go, or any included Matrox software is not covered by Matrox, Matrox Graphics Inc. and Matrox Electronic Systems.
Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of all contest rules.
