The Matrox VPX-IN/Hybird combines the capabilities of the VPX-INVID8 and the VPX-INRGB4 for projects where the system size or available PCI-X slots is restrained. With capablities of capturing up to 4 RGB analog channels as well as 8 analog video (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) channels, the VPX-IN/Hybrid is a highly integrated, single slot, PCI-X add-in board that features high-speed link ports for connectivity to VPX-OUT add-in boards enabling system-independent data transfers between the capture and the output boards. Based on Matrox cutting edge acquisition IP on top of a Matrox designed 4-port high-speed bridge, the VPX-IN/Hybrid is capable of processing, packetizing and transmitting all channels, in real-time*, to an adjacent VPX-OUT4 or VPX-OUT8 output board. |
